Exquisite Scar

The aim of this project is to create an abstract book cover that represents 'Exquisite Scar'. The title was chosen randomly. The concept of the title is conveyed through the materials and marks that were used.

Scar is usually a negative word relating to wounds and damage, but it can also just be describing a mark of some sort. Since it is paired with 'exquisite' I wanted to create something that is more elegant. With two different colour markers, I drew a lot of lines on a textured paper. The darker lines leads to the important information on the cover, and the lighter ones are decorative.
